About Me:

My love of recording stemmed from being on the other side of the glass, playing in bands. One of the biggest assets I bring to any project I’m a part of is an understanding of music as a player first. I’ve worked as the lead engineer on sessions with Stephin Merrit (The Magnetic Fields), Matt Nathanson, Sour Widows, Taylor Eigsti and many others. I’ve also engineered voice over sessions for Slate Media, Netflix, Jim Capobianco (Pixar) and more. I had the honor of being staff at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley until it closed. While there I got to assist on many sessions with some of the best engineers and artists in the world, including Steve Miller, Boz Scaggs, Graham Nash and George Winston. I’m also an experienced multi-instrumentalist (bass, keys, guitar) and have played on many of my clients projects. Additionally, I enjoy composing music for film, television and advertisements.
